The Equation Editor enables users to insert mathematical equations within the HTML Editor. It supports the input of MathML and LaTeX, and includes a graphical editor where you can visually create equations. Depending on your org settings, you may not have access to all input methods.
Click the Check Spelling icon. The Spell Checker identifies spelling errors in red font, highlighting the first misspelled word in yellow. Suggested replacement text displays in the Suggestions drop-down list.
Select the correct word from the Suggestions drop-down list and click Replace Once or Replace All. The Spell Checker automatically prompts you with the next misspelled word.
The HTML Editor integrates with all Learning Environment tools that have HTML content creation capabilities. For example, the HTML Editor is available when you edit discussion topics, create custom instructions for dropbox folders, create ePortfolio artifacts, and create content topics.
System widgets are defined by the Desire2Learn platform. You cannot modify the contents of system widgets or delete them, but you can change where the widgets are located on your course homepage and customize their display options (see Adding and moving widgets on your homepages).
