Changing calendar colors

  1. Click the Change Calendar Colors icon from the calendar menu area.
  2. Select the course you want to change the color for from the drop-down list in Calendar Colors. Click the desired calendar color. Lighten or darken the color by moving the arrow on the side of the color bar up and down.
  3. Click Done.

Use the Calendar tool to arrange and visualize course events in multiple views and enable integration of course content and your Calendar. You can use iCal to synchronize the Calendar tool to your personal calendars (such as Outlook and Google Calendar, as well as iPhone, Android, and Blackberry).

Viewing your attendance data

Attendance Registers track your attendance. Depending on how many courses you are taking, you may be enrolled in multiple registers. Registers track attendance data such as participation in chat sessions, discussions, seminars, labs, etc. Registers can be used to track both online and in person attendance data.

Viewing CaptureCast presentations offline and in mobile playback

You can download MP3 and MP4 versions of an on-demand CaptureCast presentation to your personal computer or mobile device after it is published to Capture Portal.

NoteDepending on your institution's Capture configuration, users might not have permission to download CaptureCast presentations or access Capture Portal from a mobile device. If a presentation does not have the download option available, or if you cannot view the mobile Capture Portal interface, contact your instructor or Capture administrator.

Viewing my grades

When your grades are published, they appear on your personal Grades page in the course. Depending on how your grades are set up, you might also be able to view comments and overall class performance statistics.

Use the Grades tool to check your grades on assignments and tests. You can see your individual grades and comments, as well as class averages and feedback. You can also view your final grade and the grade formula used to evaluate you once your instructor releases your grades.
