Form templates are pages created by an institution, department, or course designer that collect information from users. When you create a form template, you specify what fields it includes, what type of information each field collects, and whether a field is required. Users can fill out a form template multiple times and they can allow others to comment on or evaluate their entries.
You can add an ePortfolio reflection within Learning Environment by clicking Reflect in ePortfolio on any page in Content. The Reflect in ePortfolio button is enabled by default.
NOTE When you add a reflection from Content, the reflection is automatically tagged with three tags that specify the reflection's origin: the course ID, the module name, and the topic name.
You can associate topics with learning objectives directly from the Content tool, but you must have existing learning objectives in the Competencies tool before you can create these associations.
You can evaluate students from Dropbox even if no submissions were made to a dropbox folder. This enables instructors to assign comments and grades to students with no submissions. Also, this enables instructors to evaluate submissions that occur outside of Learning Environment while keeping track of evaluations within dropbox folders.
You have the ability to offset dates in Calendar's List View. If you offset a due date that is associated with a Content topic, the due date, start date, and end date automatically adjust in Content.
You can notify students when updating or changing a topic in Content. They receive an Update alert notification in their minibar; clicking the alert brings them to the updated topic.
