Click  Insights Portal on the navbar of your course homepage.

Note Contact your system administrator or your Desire2Learn Account Manager if you do not have access to Insights and believe that you should. Instructors and other roles in your organization can also request reports generated by Insights using the Insights Portal tool.

The Student Success System uses analytical insights to make predictions about student success and risk levels in your courses. The predictive analysis used by the Student Success System is adaptable to the instructional approach of each course, allowing you to monitor student engagement and achievement expectations for your courses. With the Student Success System, you can use the predictive models to monitor and design targeted interventions for at-risk students in active courses to improve student success, retention, completion, and graduation rates.

Insights provides you with the tools to identify patterns and relationships through a combination of data mining reports. These reports enable insight into student behavior, grade achievements, and usage patterns, which assist in student retention and success. The reports also provide insight into improvement opportunities on the educational components of the course.

Note  All data mining reports can only export to PDF due to their graphical nature.
