Use the Classlist tool to view who's enrolled in your course, check users' online statuses, send email or pager messages, view shared locker files, and read their blogs if they have one. You can also use the Classlist tool to change user account settings, and send users a password reset link.
Depending on your permissions, the Classlist tool enables you to add or remove course participants, change user roles, create new users, and import users from a TXT or CSV file.
The Online Status icon displays beside the names of other users who are currently online.
The Classlist tool is a convenient starting point for viewing information about your users. For example, you can check who’s online, view profiles, and check group enrollment.
To view information about your users, use the context menu beside users’ names or at the top of the Classlist.

Use this feature to view the progress of users enrolled in your courses. For more information on User Progress, see User Progress [17].
Note Your view of User Progress may differ depending on whether you access User Progress from the org level or the org unit level, as well as depending on your roles and permissions.
A user can impersonate another user from the Classlist. For example, it would be beneficial to impersonate a user when submitting a quiz on their behalf.
Note The ability to enable user impersonation is set in the Users tool's permissions. Contact your administrator for more details.
The Settings area enables you select which tab options created by your organization you want to display in your course’s classlist.
Note The option to create tabs is an organization level tool, typically available to site administration.
Use the Add Participants area to add a new user to your course. Depending on your permissions you can add a user that is already enrolled at your organization, but not in your course, create and add a new user, or import users from a TXT or CSV file.
An auditor in Learning Environment is a user with permission to see (audit) another user’s information in the User Progress tool, which enables them to view:
This feature is useful if you want to grant access to parents to view and monitor their children in a specific course offering.
You should place the Auditors widget on the organization homepage so that auditors can access the information on the users they audit. Only users with permission for auditing, and existing auditor relationships can see this widget.
Note You can also reverse this and select users you want to add auditees to by clicking the Users {user} audits tab on the Manage Auditors page.
You can also access this info from the User Progress tool.
You can create or delete multiple auditor relationships using a TXT file and the Bulk Auditor Managment tool.
